Islam Abad: The government has decided to file a defamation suit against Justice (retd) Wajihuddin.
Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said in a press conference that Justice (retd) Wajihuddin was filing a defamation case against him. Notices are also being issued to the TV channels which made statements without confirmation. Freedom of speech is accompanied by the right to responsibility.
Fawad Chaudhry said that the manner in which the caste of the Prime Minister was targeted was reprehensible. The honor of the Prime Minister is not safe here either. A deliberate campaign is being launched against the country’s top civil officers, army generals, judiciary and institutions.
According to the Information Minister, it seems that media freedom is being used for a special campaign. Talks were held regarding the expenses of the Prime Minister’s house. A new joke has come out. Wajihuddin made a statement which was made without verification. Other countries have laws and fines. If laws are not brought then Pakistan’s system based on fake news will be weaker and weaker.
