It was decided to cut off gas supply to non-export industries in Sindh and Balochistan including Karachi from tomorrow.
According to Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), the decision was taken to provide better supply to domestic consumers.
The company says that gas is essential for the consumers of Balochistan in severe cold.
It may be recalled that due to severe cold, gas shortage has occurred in many cities of Balochistan including Quetta and Kalat and in some places gas pressure is declining.
Citizens are facing severe difficulties due to gas load shedding.
