Lahore: Pakistan’s senior actor Firdous Jamal has said that I have no personal enmity with Mahira Khan and my statement was based on technicality.

It should be noted that some time ago there was a lot of noise in the showbiz industry due to the statement of Firdous Jamal that actress Mahira Khan should not play the role of a heroine but should play female roles according to her age.

In an interview to a private TV channel, the actor clarified his statement and said that my statement did not mean that Mahira Khan is too old or senile.

He said that what I meant was that in the minds of people, the concept of heroine is a sixteen-seven-year-old girl, there is a difference between a woman and a heroine.

Firdous Jamal further said that I have no personal enmity with anyone nor am I angry with anyone. I am a technical guy and I only talk technical. I look at everyone from a technician’s point of view and what seems good to people looks bad to me.
