Black marketing of fertilizers has also reached its peak, forcing farmers to line up for fertilizer in order to harvest wheat.

Farmers say that Ali al-Sabah queues for fertilizer, after a long wait, either their turn does not come, even if the turn comes, they get only 2 sacks of fertilizer instead of 10.

Fertilizers are being sold at a higher price by blackening, urea is being sold at Rs 2,300 with an increase of Rs 500 per bag.

A spokesman for the district administration said the administration was conducting raids.
