ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet has decided that employees recruited on daily wage, contract, temporary and ad hoc basis will not be made permanent.
In a briefing of the cabinet meeting, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that due to expensive contracts of Nawaz era, electricity prices have gone up, Rs 134 billion has been paid to IPPs, all indicators of economy are going positive.
He said that the Federal Cabinet had approved the amendment in the Election Act to prevent horse trading in Senate elections and to make ballot papers identifiable.
