Islam Abad: An extraordinary meeting of OIC foreign ministers on the situation in Afghanistan has decided to set up a humanitarian trust fund to help the Afghan people, for which a special account will be opened in the Islamic Development Bank. ۔
An extraordinary meeting of OIC foreign ministers on the situation in Afghanistan was held in Islamabad, which was attended by Deputy Foreign Ministers of 10 countries and 70 delegations, including foreign ministers of 20 countries, at the invitation of Pakistan. Pakistan is hosting the IC Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.

Situation in Afghanistan
According to the United Nations, 3.8 million people in Afghanistan are suffering from severe food shortages, while the World Food Program (WFP) has warned that 3.2 million Afghan children are suffering from malnutrition and more than 6.5 million people have been displaced.
