Corona in Pakistan reveals alarming rise in child mortality


Corona in Pakistan has revealed a dangerous increase in child deaths this year.

A joint study by Aga Khan University, the National Institute of Cardiology and the National Institute of Pediatrics has revealed that 1112 children in Pakistan have been infected with corona this year.

The report said that so far this year, 159 people have lost their lives due to the global epidemic and the infant mortality rate in the country has been more than 14%.

Major hospitals report that children between the ages of one and nine are most affected.

Experts have also recommended that children under the age of 12 be vaccinated against corona.
