On December 24, at 5 p.m., the Bernstein college in Dambach-la-Ville will release on YouTube a video in which its students perform a cup song, that is to say a musical performance during which the rhythm is produced using plastic cups.
A huge buzz seven years ago
This original initiative, spotted by our colleagues from DNA, had already been worn by the establishment seven years earlier.
The video, posted there also on YouTube, had by then totaled more than 10 million views.
In Alsatian this time
The teaser for the future cup song is already available.
The song performed will be the same as in 2014: “Cup”, by Anna Kendrick.
This time, however, the lyrics will be in Alsatian, and not in English.
