Tehran: Farida Muradkhani, the niece of Iran’s Supreme Leader, supported the ongoing anti-government protests across the country after the police killing of Mehsa Amini, calling on the international community to stand with the protesters.
According to the international news organization, Farida Murad Khani, the daughter of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s sister, Badri Khamenei, called the Iranian government a killer of women and children in a video message and called on the international community to support the protesters.
On Twitter, Farida Murad Khani’s brother claimed that this video is four days old and on the second day of uploading this video, the security forces arrested my sister, who is still imprisoned at an unknown location.
In a video that went viral on social media, it can be seen that Farida Murad Khani said that now is the time for all freedom-loving countries to call back all their diplomatic representatives from Iran in solidarity with the protesters and the representatives of this oppressive government. It should be noted that Farida Murad Khani has been a critic of the government in the past, due to which she was arrested in 2018 and at the beginning of this year.
