At least 22 people were killed in Nepal due to heavy rains and landslides, many houses collapsed

As a result of heavy rains and landslides in the western part of Nepal, several houses collapsed, 22 people were killed and 10 were injured in the accident.

According to foreign media, heavy rains have been recorded in the western part of Nepal, as a result of which the incidents of landslides have increased.

According to foreign media reports, the landslide incident took place in Ichham district, which is located about 450 km west of the capital Kathmandu. Rescue teams are trying to pull out the people buried under the debris of the houses that fell in the accident.

Local authorities say that around 1,500 people displaced by the floods have been sheltered in government buildings.

At least 70 people have been killed and 13 are missing in floods and landslides in Nepal this year, according to official figures.
