Appeal against de-seating decision of PTI defiant members scheduled for hearing

Islamabad: The appeals against the de-seating decision of the defiant members of PTI have been fixed for hearing in the Supreme Court.

A three-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court will hear the appeals on November 9. The Election Commission had de-seated 25 PTI members on a reference filed by Imran Khan.

The defected members of PTI had voted for Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Hamza Shehbaz in the Punjab Chief Minister election. The defiant members had challenged the Election Commission’s decision in the Supreme Court.
