Seoul: American F-16 plane crashed in South Korea.
According to a foreign news agency, an American F-16 fighter jet crashed near an American military base in South Korea.
According to officials, the plane was an F-16 of the 8th Fighter Wing on a training flight that crashed in the fields. The pilot of the plane survived the accident and was taken to a local hospital. South Korean authorities say that as soon as the accident was reported, local rescue officials and firefighters arrived at the scene and controlled the fire. There was no loss of life in the accident. Further investigations are underway.
